Ambazonia restoration forces have reportedly launched a Sapga style ambush in Momo division killing at least 5 Cameroon security forces and setting ablaze a military pick up.

We learnt that the attack was launched (on Thursday October 21, 2021) by heavily armed separatist fighters who had laid in ambush in the middle of the forest in Ngie , Momo division.

Images making rounds on the social media shows the military pick up on flames with lots bullet holes on it indicating severity of the attack.

Some news organs also reported that the military pick up was initially hit by an IED followed by rain of bullets from the separatist making it easy for the Ambazonia restoration forces to over power the Cameroon security forces who were already incapacitated by the IED.

This is coming shortly after an attack that let to the death of two Gendarme officials and one injured in the area.

As a reminder of Momo division has been a hotspot since the onset of the conflict in Southern Cameroon.

The division is under the control of pioneer General King Commando and Commander blink who have reported killed more than a hundred security forces since the onset of the conflict.

The pioneer General seems to be receiving tons of support from the residents of Momo as he was able to mobilize hundreds of people who came out massively to witnessed the October 1st March pass.

However General King Commando recently announced that he has cut ties with the Ambazonia IG over a disagreement.

Many Ambazonians have wondered how long he would be able to withstand the Cameroon security forces given the fact that huge support comes from the Ambazonia IG.

Whatever be the case, our ears are still on the ground we shall bring you more information as the story unfolds…
