Chief Moja Moja Once Again Proves that he is above the law and makes mockery of human rights lawyers
By Controversial Traditional Ruler of Bwassa village in Buea, Ewome Eko John, aka Moja Moja has publicly accused two human rights lawyers for allegedly aiding and abetting criminality in Buea.
In a video footage circulating on social media, Moja Moja is seen with a man bathed in blood whom he accuses of rape, yet, takes delight in meting jungle justice on him.
In the video footage, Moja Moja accuses Barristers Ewule Edward Lyonga and Tamfu Richard, for supporting people he alleges commit crimes and cause anarchy in Buea.
However pundits have defended the accused lawyers saying it is the mob justice is prohibited by law adding that its the responsibility of the judge to determine what punishment should be given to a criminal if he or she has been found guilty.
The rights advocates accused by Moja Moja have in multiple cases denounced the gross violation of the Rights of Citizens in Buea by Moja and his company.
It should be recalled that when Moja Moja arrested the pregnant ex girl friend of General No Pity, it was the accused lawyers that fought tirelessly for the release of the lady to the dissatisfaction of Moja Moja who may have preferred she put to birth in prison.
The chief of Bwasa; Moja Moja (who doubles as a military personnel) is best known for indulging in outright torture of alleged criminals and published same on social media.
Unfortunately, his actions go unpunished by the government of Cameroon that has ratified many international conventions against torture and physical abuse.
