General Capo and the Unity Warriors of Bui Division have continued battling the Cameroon security forces barely few hours after the death of their close collaborator; General No Pity.

It should be recalled that General No Pity was pronounced dead on the 23rd of August, 2022.

When news of his death emerged on the social media, pundits had reacted to the news saying his death would greatly demotivate the Ambazonia fighters in the North West Region as many of the boys looked up to him as a father and a uniting factor.

However their forecast turned out to be wrong as General Capo of the unity warrior has wasted no time to return to the field.

In a video making rounds on the social media, General Capo could be seen firing gunshots towards an armor car.

In another video footage General Capo could be seen flaunting two RPGs that he claimed he collected from the Cameroon security forces in the attack.

While flaunting the weapons he said…

“Na weapons dem this way we don collectam but we not fit glad because our papa no day with us.”

The videos were recorded on the 23th of August i.e. just few hours after General No Pity was pronounced dead.

With a strong determination in the hearts of the Amba fighters and the Cameroun government not willing to give up on their military solution, pundits wonder if peace will ever return to the North West Region.

Meanwhile on the 24th of August, General Efang; supreme commander of the Ambazonia Defense Forces (ADF) also announced that the days ahead would be dark for the Cameroon security forces.

He added that his ADF faction has now acquired enough weapons and ammunitions that will enable them to withstand up to 72 hours of gun battle with the Cameroon security forces.

His announcement is coming two weeks after he lost 11 fighters in a fierce gun battle in Batibo.

General Efang regret the loss but also rekindle the spirit of Ambazonians alleging that military casualties was higher as a helicopter came to the battlefield 3 times to pick dead bodies and wounded soldiers.

Sources are alleging that Lebialem is calm but uncertainty is at its peak as the residents of Lebialem don’t know what the Amba boys are cooking up.

The war has lasted for 6 yrs but its very hard for anyone to tell who is winning.

We can only estimate the number of casualties.

Civil Society and activists keep calling for the government to consider dialogue but the government keeps giving a dear ear.

The Amba boys on their part says only independence would bring peace or we fight till the last man standing.

Whatever be the case, our ears are still on the ground, we shall bring you more information as the story unfolds…
