We just learnt that on the 19th of September, 2021, a combined squad of Ambazonia Restoration Forces (ARFs) in Bafut under the command of General Inches and Commander Api, launched another deadly IED attack increasing Cameroon military death toll to 25 (since the onset of the Gutterres lockdown).

A video footage making rounds on the social media, shows Ambazonia Restoration Forces laying in ambush filming an armored vehicle with about 10 military onboard (judging from the size of the armored vehicle).

The ARFs could be heard saying THEY DI CAM REACH OUR TARGET…as they film the armored vehicle while waiting expectantly for it to reach a particular spot insinuating that they had planted a roadside bomb targeting the armored vehicle.

Seconds later, an IED went off hitting the target.

It is believed that the armored vehicle was blown to pieces as the explosion was very powerful.

The authors of the video though standing about 100 meters away from their target could still feel the impact of the explosion as they couldn’t hold the camera in a fixed position.

Judging from the magnitude of the explosion, its very unlikely that any of the soldiers on board (estimated to be about 10 in number) survived.

Its estimated that at least 25 Cameroon security forces have been killed since the onset of the Gutteres Lockdown i.e. from the 15th to the 20th of September.

As a reminder, General No Pity historic September 16 ambush at Sapga hill led to the death of 10 military.

And on the 18th of September General Gola of Boyo division launched a deadly IED attack believed to have killed atleast 5 Cameroon security officers, all roasted to ashes increasing military death toll to 15+.

Pundits say death toll is likely to rise as its still remaining about 10 days for the lockdown to be over.

Its alleged that since the Ambazonia Restoration Forces resorted to using roadside bombing in combatting the Cameroon security forces, about 300 have been killed and the material loss is expected to be around 800 million frs CFA as of September 20th.

Most Ambazonia Restoration Forces (especially those in the North West region) have adopted roadside bombings as their number one strategy as it makes it possible for them to achieve their goals effortlessly and riskfree.

Some Ambazonia activists have hilariously described the IED attacks as a video game played by the Amba boys.

Pundits say the deadly attacks speaks volume, as the motive behind the 15 days Gutterres lockdown imposed by the Ambazonia IG is now very clear to every Ambazonians judging from the series of deadly IED attacks and ambush launched by the Ambazonia restoration forces over the past five days.

A Pro IG activist that i spoke with said contrary to popular opinion, the Gutteres lockdown wasn’t imposed to cause pain to the population but to clear the battlefield to make it easy for the ARFs to target the Egyptian army without any collateral damage like the incident which happened in Balangi; in which a 22yrs old girl by name Vanessa was hit by stray bullet.

With military casualties now dominating the headlines, the Ambazonia activists say when next a lockdown is announced, the Ambazonians will stock their houses with food items while the Bulu women will be shopping for coffins.

Our ears are still on the ground. We shall bring you more info as the story unfolds.
